My Story
Amanda M Long
Spatial Landscape Ecologist
Hi!
I am passionate about collaborating with scientists around the world, engaging with local communities, and using geospatial analysis to support landscape-scale conservation.
As the Spatial Ecologist for Climate Science at the National Audubon Society, I integrate my background in ecology and conservation with my technical geospatial skills to inform regional, national, and hemispheric bird conservation initiatives.
A picture is worth a thousand words
I practice science communication through the art of cartography and data visualization and like to travel to connect with people and the natural world.
